Iconic Domain is the second part of the Complexio Oppositorum trilogy [2024–2027].
Through seven pieces of music, the album attempts to encompass seven emotional states. Our emotional life is our own domain and, as such, holds an iconic status within our being.
At the same time, this domain is increasingly shaped by internet culture. The internet has become a space capable of confirming and reinforcing almost any perception, emotional response or state of mind.

Thorkild navigates a delicate balance, blending the organic resonance of the cello with the synthetic nature of digital production. The result is a dark and emotive soundscape that captivates the listener. As the track evolves, it skillfully draws in the audience, shifting tones and atmospheres in a slow, contemplative dance.

Complexio Oppositorum is a forthcomming trilogy of albums; Sacred Equation (2024), Iconic Domain (2026) & Rizz (2027).
The trilogy explores the paradox of the digital world: its simultaneous separation from lived experience and its ever-deeper integration into everyday life—particularly in the way it can shape understanding of the world and experience in general. The process draws inspiration from Jungian philosophy.
